Having been re-imagined multiple times since its introduction inMortal Kombat 2, the Dead Pool can now addLittleBigPlanet 3to the list of games featuring the iconic location.
TheLittleBigPlanetfranchise is known for the freedom it affords players, allowing fans to create entire games within its in-depth customization system. Players have remade their favorite games, characters, and locations within the engine of theLittleBigPlanetgames.LittleBigPlanet 3is the latest main series entry in the PlayStation exclusive franchise, featuring the largest catalog of creative options available to players in its sandbox gameplay. One player went on Reddit to share their recreation ofa famousMortal Kombatstage, the Dead Pool. Also featured in the post are two recreatedMortal Kombatcharacters, Sub-Zero and Scorpion, complete with Scorpion’s iconic chain spear.

Reddit user zedreh shared a screenshot of their recreation of the Dead Pool withinLittleBigPlanet 3, which features their rendition ofSub-Zero and Scorpionfighting at the iconic location. Also pictured in the background is a skeleton on a hook, which has been a key detail in the stage’s later renditions. While the post is missing the violence that is a staple of theMortal Kombatfranchise, there’s no doubt about the accuracy of zedreh’s creations.
The recreation of the Dead Pool isn’t the only notable detail from zedreh’s post, as they also remade Sub-Zero and Scorpion with surprising accuracy. Sub-Zero is pictured holding an ice ball, one of his most famous attacks. Scorpion also has his iconic weaponry in the image, as he’s seen holding a chain spear, whichScorpion uses when uttering his famous catchphrase. It’s remarkable seeing the accuracy with which the Dead Pool, and the featured characters, have been remade inLittleBigPlanet 3. The recreation features the acid pool, hanging skeletons, and iconic fighters that are expected in any iteration of theMortal Kombatstage.
